Dr. Anne Hilborn

Lead Pastor, Teaching Elder
E-mail Dr. Anne Hilborn

Anne is the Transitional Pastor, here to build upon Pastor Ron’s legacy of faith… while paving the way for ARPC’s future.

She became a Christian in high school in Richmond, VA and soon after felt the call to ministry. She has served God in the Presbyterian Church as a certified Christian educator and Minister of Word and Sacrament (associate pastor) in churches across NC and in CA. She teaches Christian Spiritual Formation in an inaugural D. Min. program. In 2015 her ordination was transferred to ECO (which she helped form)! Educated at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in MA (MRE), Fuller Theological Seminary in CA (M.Div.; Doctor of Min. in “Christian Spirituality and Leadership”), her passion is helping Christ-followers become like Jesus from the inside out! She enjoys teaching Christian Spiritual Formation in an inaugural D.Min. program. Anne’s family has lived in Charlotte for 20 years; husband Scott is bi-vocational (teacher at Butler High and pastor of Banks Presbyterian). Their children are Katie (in Charlotte) and Nathan (married, in Chicago). Anne is an avid Hokie football fan, and enjoys dining out and walking the beach! She is pleased to support ARPC during this season of transition.

Greg Moore

Praise Team Leader
E-mail Greg Moore

Greg Moore has been involved with Presbyterian music ministries his entire life.  Growing up as a Presbyterian in Charlotte, NC, he credits both the vocal and handbell choir experiences of his childhood as the catalyst for his still burning desire to make music for our Lord.   Greg has led contemporary worship services for both Robinson Presbyterian in Charlotte and Faith Presbyterian Church in Indian Land, SC.   If he’s not making music at ARPC, you’ll find him on stages around the area making perhaps less reverent music with his band Province Of Thieves.  Greg holds down a full-time career as a Husband to Amanda and Father to son Gabe and daughter Chloe, and somehow manages to squeeze a second full-time career as a business manager in the supply chain industry.  Greg graduated from Garinger High School in 1990, UNC-Charlotte in 1999, and obtained an MBA from Montreat College in 2005.    Greg is also a military combat veteran, having served in the Army during Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
