First Light Service
Our First Light Service begins at 9am in the Chapel in the building on the lower end of the campus. Our largely acoustic band and Praise Team lead this service. We sing music ranging from Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Keith and Kristen Getty, to modern arrangements of traditional hymns. Some people dress up while others are very casual, but few in this service wear coats and ties. The service is generally about an hour in length and Communion is celebrated each week.
Following Sunday School ARPC offers a more formal liturgical service at 11a.m. in the Sanctuary. The music is led by our Chancel Choir and traditional hymn accompaniment is on the organ and piano played by our own talented Tim Brown. The liturgy of this service can be easily followed in the bulletin. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month and on fifth Sundays.
People dress from casual to Sunday best in both services.
In proximity to both worship spaces there is a cheerful, bright nursery area for infants and toddlers supervised by dedicated volunteers.
